Google Webmaster Tools shows WP Update

That's new - GWT shows if your version of WP installed is old and need an update. It is useful when you have a lot of sites in GWT.

It started to show this quite a long while back, in 2009.

Well, may be I had my WP always updated and now was the first time to see this feature.

i've also started to see these warnings couple months ago.until now they didn't show up. I found them useless. I already have wordpress dashboard that's telling me the same thing.
